²⁴ The gatekeepers were ^[a]on the four sides, to the east, west, north and south. ²⁵ Their relatives in their villages ^(A)were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with ^[b]them; ²⁶ for the four chief gatekeepers who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
